Old Village
(Portugal : dark folk/ambient)

Old village is a project which combines different styles and influences like ambient, folk, neofolk and dark music. The project started in mid 2007 by an João Ribeiro Idea, with the purpose of create a style with self-identity, and their own feelings and ideas. Those ideas are based on the author’s interest in the ancestral times, the fascination of nature and its mysteries.
In the end of 2008, the first EP was released, named "Marcha do Tempo" with 9 songs related to ancient believes, traditions and some nature scenarios. This EP was few months later published by the Italian label "Inchiostrum Records".
In 2010, the second work came out, called "Infinito". This is a conceptual album which translate the relation between the ancient world, rites and costumes and an unknown world, filled of prophecies, fears and wonder.

Lomeanor is a [quasi] gothic netlabel located in Russia. We prefer neoclassical, ethereal, folk and ambient styles. We are interested only by an art in a clean kind, without the admixture of financial values and ratings influencing.
